Yasser Arafat .. Oslo and the dream state

Yasser Arafat
Do not know with certainty the birth place of Mohammed Abdel-Raouf example Husseini, who became famous later on behalf of Yasser Arafat, Abu Ammar, and is likely to be born in Cairo in the twenty-fourth of August 1929, a son of the sixth father was working in the trade, and emigrated to Cairo in 1927 and lived in the neighborhood Sakakini. In Cairo

"Black September"
The clashes between the forces of the Palestinian resistance and the Jordanian army in 1970 resulted in many casualties on both sides in what is known events of "Black September". After Arab mediation decided the Palestinian resistance in the following year, headed by Yasser Arafat out of Jordan to latch Backpacker temporarily in Lebanese territory.
In Lebanon

Declaration of a Palestinian state

Recognition of Israel

Arafat as president of the Palestinian state

Second Gulf War

Oslo
Of the Oslo agreement was signed by Palestinian leader Yasser Arafat and Israeli Prime Minister Yitzhak Rabin in 1993 significant results on the progress of Israeli-Palestinian conflict, as this has resulted in an agreement for a new Palestinian entity on the Palestinian territories called the Palestinian National Authority. The most important thing in the Oslo Agreement in addition to recognition of the State of Israel on the borders of historical Palestine that created a new legitimacy of the negotiating process .. Legitimacy is based on bilateral agreements and not on the international resolutions issued.
In Cairo, Yasser Arafat on the Palestinian-Israeli agreement for the implementation of Palestinian self-rule in Gaza and Jericho.
The Nobel Prize
In the following year (1994) Yasser Arafat received the Nobel Peace Prize together with Yitzhak Rabin, former Israeli Prime Minister Shimon Peres and Foreign Minister.
Taba Agreement
Arafat signed the city of Taba on 24 September 1995, initialed the agreement on extending Palestinian self-rule in the West Bank and Gaza Strip, after the elected Palestinian leader Yasser Arafat in the January 20, 1996 President of the self-governing authority in the first general elections in Palestine, where he received the proportion of 88.1%.
Wye River
Continued to the Palestinian leader in the peace process despite the intransigence, the government of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and the continued construction of settlements, the signing of the Wye River agreement in the United States on 23 October 1998.
Camp David II
Then held talks at Camp David II, which was held on the impact in the second half of the month of July 2000 tripartite summit gathered and Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Barak and U.S. President Bill Clinton at Camp David to discuss outstanding issues such as Jerusalem, settlements, refugees, and the summit ended after two failed for lack of a a solution to the problem of Jerusalem and some other issues.
Clinton rejected proposals
Palestinian President Yasser Arafat on Monday, 8/1/2001 rejection of the proposals the U.S. by President Bill Clinton for the Palestinian and Israeli sides, which included the waiver of the right of return for Palestinian refugees, and the transfer of Jerusalem an open city where the two capitals and one Jewish and the other for Palestinians.
